Meet Tom Stimler and Rachel Debigare, the father-daughter duo at The Stimler Agency

Tom graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Finance in 1981. Shortly after he married his college sweetheart, Suzanne, in 1982, the pair moved to Jacksonville, FL. In 1985 Tom earned his MBA from University of North Florida, and in 1989 Tom became a Certified Financial Planner™. From 1989-2003 Tom worked for various insurance and investment agencies before going out on his own under the umbrella of Ohio National Financial Services, where he has worked as an independent agent for the last 20 years. Tom and Suzanne have two daughters, Emily and Rachel a son-in-law Steve, and two sweet grandsons, Ethan and Miles, with whom they enjoy spending as much time with as possible. Tom and Suzanne are also active members of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville Nocatee campus and spend time volunteering together with First Coast Women's Services weekly.

Tom has been in the business for over 30 years because of the joy he gets helping each individual client reach their financial goals.

Rachel grew up in Jacksonville and moved to Gainesville, FL in 2007 to attend the University of Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in 2011 and began working at a local nonprofit, The Education Foundation of Alachua County, Inc. shortly after graduation. Over the next 12 years, Rachel held several progressively responsible roles, most recently as Executive Director where she was responsible for fundraising as well as managing the financial health of the organization and its $4.5M assets. In 2021, Rachel decided to make a career shift and began preparing to join her dad to form The Stimler Agency. Rachel has earned her insurance license and she is also a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative. It has been a joy to transition to The Stimler Agency not only to get to work with her dad each day, but mostly because of the wide array of people she gets to interact with on a regular basis. Rachel firmly believes that helping people understand how to manage their finances is one of the greatest gifts you can give. Because of her long career working in education, Rachel has a deep knowledge base regarding education savings vehicles that she is excited to share with her clients.

Rachel lives in Gainesville, FL with her husband Steve and two sons. Together they are actively involved in City Church Gainesville and love watching their boys play sports on the weekend.
